The BEST Birria Ramen Near Myrtle Beach? Here’s Where to Find It!
Let’s start with the dish that had me the MOST excited!

La Taqueria’s Birria Ramen features a hearty bowl of noodles swimming in a rich, flavorful birria broth, topped with tender shredded birria meat, onions, radish, and fresh cilantro.
But here’s what really makes this meal special.
IT COMES WITH A BIRRIA TACO! 🌮
Yes, you read that correctly!
You get a delicious bowl of Birria Ramen PLUS a crispy birria taco loaded with flavorful meat, making this one satisfying combination.
That savory broth, the tender meat, and those noodles are exactly what made me fall in love with this dish when I first tried it at Maz Fresco.
For those of you who remember my original recommendation, you’ll understand why I’m so excited to share that you can enjoy it again right here in Murrells Inlet! I had so many people reach out that they went to Maz Fresco to try it and everyone agreed it was delicious!

What Else Should You Order at La Taqueria in Murrells Inlet?
While the Birria Ramen stole the show for me, the menu offers so much more than traditional tacos and burritos.
Here’s a look at everything we tried during our visit.
Birria Crunchwraps
If you love birria, you’re going to want to add these to your order!
La Taqueria’s Birria Crunchwraps feature six fried corn tortillas filled with homemade birria, topped with pickled red onions, and served with fresh guacamole.
The combination of crispy tortillas, savory meat, and tangy pickled onions makes this a fun dish to share around the table.

Steak Quesadilla
Sometimes you just can’t go wrong with a classic steak quesadilla!
We ordered the Steak Quesadilla, featuring a flour tortilla stuffed with melted cheese and steak that was seasoned to perfection!
It’s served with a Q’Salad featuring shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream, and guacamole.
Perfect for anyone craving cheesy Mexican comfort food!

Q’Trio – Chips, Salsa, Guacamole & Chorizo Queso
Every great Mexican food experience needs some chips and dips, right?!
We started with La Taqueria’s Q’Trio, featuring three house-made dips:
- Fresh guacamole
- Chorizo queso
- Salsa
All served with crispy tortilla chips.
This is a great appetizer for sharing, especially if you want to sample a little bit of everything before your meal arrives!

Alambre Platillo
Now THIS is a plate for someone who loves a hearty Mexican meal!
The Alambre Platillo features a combination of asada, grilled chicken, and chorizo with peppers and onions, all covered in melted cheese.
It’s accompanied by Mexican rice and refried beans.
Between the mixed meats, sautéed vegetables, and melted cheese, there’s plenty happening on this plate!

Roasted Chicken Pipián
Looking for something a little different from your typical taco or quesadilla?
The Roasted Chicken Pipián deserves a look!
This dish features half a roasted chicken served over white beans with fresh pipián sauce and grilled vegetables.
The presentation immediately caught my attention, especially the beautiful green sauce surrounding the roasted chicken.
This is one of those menu items that shows the variety La Taqueria offers beyond Mexican street-food favorites.
Note: The menu identifies the pipián dish as containing nuts and seeds.

Chef’s Special NY Strip
Yes, you can even order steak at La Taqueria!
The Chef’s Special features a grilled New York strip steak served with grilled pineapple, cebollitas, mango, and vegetables.
Our plate also featured corn and poblano mashed potatoes, roasted sweet potato, and green beans.
The grilled pineapple and colorful sides made for a beautiful presentation, and it’s another example of how diverse the menu is.
