What’s on the Menu at Salty Sugar Greek Bistro?

One thing I love about exploring local restaurants is getting to sample a variety of dishes. During our visit to Salty Sugar Greek Bistro, we tried several different menu items, and there was definitely something for everyone!

Here’s a little look at what we enjoyed.

A foil container filled with seasoned fries and a gyro wrapped in foil, accompanied by lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and sauce.

Greek Gyros and Seasoned Fries

You can’t visit a Greek restaurant without trying a gyro, right?

The gyro came loaded with savory meat, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and creamy sauce, all tucked into warm pita bread.

It was served alongside a generous portion of golden, seasoned fries. This is definitely the kind of meal that satisfies when you’re craving something hearty and flavorful!

Loaded Greek-Style Subs

If you love a good sandwich, the Greek-style subs deserve a spot on your radar!

These were loaded with fresh vegetables, fries, savory fillings, and sauce, all stuffed into a soft roll.

We tried a few different varieties, and I loved how substantial these sandwiches were. They’re a great option when you’re hungry and want something more than your typical lunch sandwich.

And don’t forget the sauce on the side!

Greek Salad

Looking for something a little lighter?

The Greek salad was packed with fresh vegetables, olives, peppers, and plenty of toppings. We tried ours with chicken, making it a filling option that still delivers those classic Mediterranean-inspired flavors.

It’s a great choice if you’re craving something fresh but don’t want to sacrifice flavor!

Spanakopita: A Greek Classic

If you’ve never tried spanakopita, let me introduce you to this delicious Greek favorite!

Spanakopita is a savory pastry traditionally made with layers of flaky phyllo dough filled with spinach and feta cheese.

The golden, crispy layers make this such a satisfying addition to a Greek meal.

If you’re someone who loves savory pastries, this is definitely worth trying!

Don’t Skip Dessert at Salty Sugar Greek Bistro!

Now y’all know I couldn’t leave without checking out the sweet treats!

Baklava

Baklava is one of those desserts that feels like a little indulgence with every bite.

Made with delicate layers of phyllo pastry, nuts, and sweet syrup, it’s rich, flaky, and full of texture.

The baklava at Salty Sugar was topped with crushed nuts and a dusting of powdered sugar, making it just as pretty as it was tempting.

If you’re a fan of traditional Greek desserts, put this one on your list!

Strawberry Cheesecake

Not in the mood for baklava?

They also have strawberry cheesecake!

The slice we tried featured creamy cheesecake with a bright red strawberry topping. It’s a great option for anyone who prefers a creamy, fruity dessert.

My suggestion? Grab something savory for lunch and save a little room for dessert!
